Everything requires something & nothing is ever free even though it can feel like that sometimes because there is a requirement of energy and time upfront for things to happen efficiently. It’s just like when I used to get frustrated with people saying “you’ll get through this soon” whenever I would mention the last two years or try to fill people in naturally, because I get where it comes from most times but with life & people time is relative, if everything is going well there is never enough of it in the day, but when everything is going wrong it just feels like everything is moving in slow motion with no end in sight & it changes from person to person, not every situation or experience is a quick fix or just this straight forward thing, some moments require patience and understanding in order to approach them on all fronts.

We build a foundation from all the energy and time we put in independently & it’s same with the time we use in teaming up with others whether family, friends, acquaintances, collaborations, or any other relationships because it’s a balance of dependence because we can’t do everything ourselves and sometimes we need help from others & other times being willing to help ourselves using our own resources because in a perfect world we want to stand alone because we are capable of doing so & even when we pick people around us, hope it’s not done trying to have people with the same views or perspectives as us constantly, because life is this random thing where people have different views, ways of thinking, and things we have conflicting perspectives over and that is ok as long as we are using our time & energy within reason whether on ourselves or people around us by choice or routine.

Because life is not about statuses, captions, tweets, or stunting (even though things like tagging or photography play their role it’s not the whole picture) because if we are constantly trying to prove things to be real or build a facade (an outward appearance that is maintained to conceal a less pleasant or creditable reality) that can disappear or ends quickly, then we are using our time & energy reckless, & life requires action to move forward because most times the minority or a small group of people are loud the best example of this is the loudest person is usually the scariest most times, so people can talk a good game but the proof comes actually when we back it up. Sometimes there is a method to the madness of how things work, something’s just fly over our heads if we never have experienced them, but we can’t live ignorant especially after we become accustomed to certain things.

No matter what every person is different & every relationship is as well & it takes two to tango (can’t argue with a brick wall),
some people get comfortable because everything is going well, others bail because they feel the slightest bit of adversity, others adopt the mantra “outta sight outta mind“ because they got everything from a relationship possible whatever it may be & are off on there merry way, it’s always a difficult thing however it comes, but the common denominator to every relationship is dealing with time and energy which is this finite resource, to begin with, communication & being able to converse in an effective manner where we are not constantly wondering about others around us, it may be hard sometimes but it’s better than trying to be telepathic reading minds to do things in reaction to people and things around us which is not possible to do consistently & is a waste of time and energy all around. In a perfect scenario if we know people or things long enough we’ll have all the information & context necessary to have a significant view on others but it takes a certain level of time and energy on our part to be cognizant in the first place to do so because we are always taking inventory of everything around us to have a better understanding of everything around us hopefully in a fair way & hopefully assumptions aren’t just made because people are way more than the one experience we have with similar people & some people are not just one dimensional differing from others entirely. When it comes to time and energy it comes with a certain level of reciprocity that everyone wants, as a person once said “Are people trying to do the same as we are trying to do?” Are people going all-in like we are? Will people go above and beyond like we do with our own resources if the shoe was on the other foot? The best question that follows when asked correctly is “What do you bring?” sometimes people go through life without knowing whether they stand far as their value & once we answer it truthfully in our own journey on all fronts then we know how to use time and energy moving forward.

When it comes to life & using our own time & energy in our own journey it differs from person to person, perspective to perspective, the best mantra that people should follow is “leave it better than you found it” experiences may start in a different place but if we put our own resources into something they can be way better over time through troubleshooting & even trial & error, it’s the reason I use my resources the way I do because if my journey would have ended 2+ years ago I would be like casper & could not converse with others anyway, that’s why response after pressure or adversity is the marquee of individuals because decisions & choices we make after is what defines us to others, it just like something people get it misconstrued, your choice is not my choice every time people may disagree or not like choices but hopefully people have enough respect & are cordial enough whatever the outcome is, if we are selective, & taking time & energy to constantly compare we miss out on the bigger picture sometimes, time & energy is about outlook most times when done in an objective matter, sometimes we have to take a step back to see how far we have come & how far are resources have taken us, the best saying that sums this up is “The Grass is greener when you water.” we can’t use our energy to live vicariously through others or just wait at this pseudo finish line for others because of this idea we have & not improve ourselves somehow, because we can influence someway. It’s just like focus & attention it may change & may alter but is being ready for the changes that come not wasting time being inefficient, a prime example of this is me arguing or disagreeing with others unless it is crucial or necessary I’m not going to sit & debate with others because most people already have their minds made up, I’m not gonna use my time, to worry about winning constantly & use my energy to pick battles overall. There are no refunds when it comes to energy and time we can’t go to customer service for a return or an exchange, no matter how much we want to, we can’t rid history, unring the bell, unfire the shot, or erase it sometimes we see potential or something but we have to invest our resources to see it through with others or ourselves, things may come together or we may just burn out because of the moment
but the biggest difference is the consistency of every person & just being ready for a change when it comes because no matter how much we put toward something we sacrifice to get better along with improving & constantly learning every day & hopefully we don’t outright regret our experiences or choices overall.
